My Bio

Short, fat hairy ex-'Eavy Metal painter.

I started working for GW back in the Mike McVey days and eventually ended up running the 'Eavy Metal team. You will have seen my work in most GW publications between 1992 and 2001.

I dropped out of figure painting for a few years after my time at GW, because of a long illness, and got back into it around 2010. I currently paint miniatures on commission and for myself, and I occasionally draw pictures too, but that's purely a hobby.

I am a full-timer care worker and I play D&D as part of Die Rolling.

I live in the south-west of England, with my beautiful partner Michelle (The Better Half) and my three cats.

I like cider, almost all genres of music, and food.

I have a blog where I ramble on about my miniature painting and anything else that springs to mind: www.sublimebrushwork.blogspot.com

Reboot

So, my new year's resolutions went out the window rapidly. Wrecking my shoulder, on my first week back at the old day job, meant that my new exercise regime and all my planned projects for painting have had to be left by the wayside. The pain and stress also meant the giving up of smoking was put on hold too. Oh well, at least I haven't been idle. I have used the downtime to update my website, facebook and blog and to launch myself onto the realm of twitter as well as a host of other networky-type things. I've also managed to get all most of my paperwork dealt with (although too late to get my tax return in on time-grrr) and played about wi

Back to Work!

0 min read
Finally managed to get back behind the desk. It's been a rough old summer, with family and health woes getting in the way of work but it's great to get back on the work trail. To get myself started I've been blasting my way through a load of single figures to sell off and bring in some much needed cash. I'll be uploading these as they are done-the first few Space Marine characters are up already-with lots more to come. Here's to work! LOVE IT!
